Lafayette Escadrille

T-shirt

The Lafayette Escadrille (Escadrille de Lafayette) was a squadron of the French Air Service during WW I named in honor of the Marquis de Lafayette, hero of the American Revolution. The squadron was composed largely of American volunteer pilots flying fighter aircraft emblazoned with a Sioux Indian. The squadron mascots were a pair of lions named Whiskey and Soda.

This makes for a great staple t-shirt. It’s made of a thicker, heavier cotton, but it’s still soft. And the double stitching on the neckline and sleeves add more durability to what is sure to be a favorite!
