Board Performance

How does flying a fighter jet relate to LONGBOARD PERFORMANCE?

Fighter jet performance is a balancing act between stability and maneuverability.  In a longboard, maneuverability is determined by the shape of the nose.  Stability is determined by the width of the board at the back truck.

So how do I choose the right ride for me?

1)  WHAT SHAPE DO I LIKE?

Start by picking the shape that appeals to you.

2)  DO I FIT THE WEIGHT LIMIT?

Check that you fit the weight limit.  If not, move to a board with more width at the back truck (or select the 8-ply option at checkout).

3)  DO I WANT MORE STABILITY OR MORE FLEX?

Click on the board images below and choose a high energy ride (Fighter Jet) or something more stable (Jumbo Jet).
